Happy Gilmore
Adam Sandler is Happy Gilmore, an ice hockey fanatic who is the best shooter on the team,
but he can't skate. The coach won't let him on the team but that's all he wants to do. His Dad
was a hockey fan who had the misfortune of being killed by a hockey puck, so Happy was sent to
live with his grandma. One day Happy learns he has a prodigious
talent for golf--specifically, for hitting the long ball off the tee.
This talent couldn't have been
discovered at a better time, because his grandmothers house is about to be claimed br the IRS.
Suddenly, Happy's playing on the professional golf tour to win the money to pay Grandma's back
taxes. His main competition comes in the form of Shooter McGavin, the best player on the tour.
The movie then revolves around Happy's quest to dethrone Shooter and win back his grandma's house.
I would recommend this movie to anyone. As usual, Adam Sandler plays the role flawlessly, commanding
us to laugh at numerous points throughout the film. A must see!!
