Jack Nicklaus is said to be the greatest golfer of all time. Jack
was born on January 21,1940 in Columbus. Nicklaus is legendary for
his golf game but he has many other talents. One of which is designing
golf courses. He has designed a total of 131 courses, co-designed 13, and
redesigned 9. His expertise in the game reflects his ability to design challenging
and beautifully landscaped courses.
Jack resides in North Palm Beach, Florida
with his wife Barbara. He has 5 children and 8 grandchildren. His professional years
as a golfer span from 1962 to the present. Nicklaus has an many victories over his stellar career,
here are just a few. Jack has 71 official Tour victories, 58 second place or ties, 36 third place or ties,
and 100 total victories around the world. He was rankes #1 in scoring 8 different time in his career as well
as being the top money winner 8 times. Jack has been given many titles (awards) such as: "Golfer of the Century"(1998 Golf Magazine),
"PGA Player of the Year" 5 times, "Athlete of the Decade" (1970 Sports Illustrated), and "Golf Course Architect of the Year (1993 GolfWorld).
Jack's total career earnings (both regular and senior PGA Tours) exceed $8 million dollars. This figure doesn't include the various endorsement
deals he has, nor does it include the money he recieves from course designs. Jack Nicklaus is by far, one of the most remarkable players the game
