Greg Norman
Greg Norman is an outstanding player on the PGA Tour with many individual accolades.
Greg is 6ft tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was born on February 10, 1955 in Queensland, Australia.
He resides in Hobe Sound, Florida where the game of golf is accessible all year round. This "Aussie" turned
porfessional in 1976. His trademark is the "Shark". Norman has 18 PGA Tour victories, and 57 International victories.
Greg attained his first "PGA Player of the Year" award in 1995. He is also a two time winnner of the British Open, in 1986
and 1993. Norman, because of his signature "shark" has turned it into a lucrative business of golf apparel. Another signature
of Norman is his traditional black hat. Greg was recently sidelined from golf due to a shoulder injury. During his time away from
the game, Norman stated that he didn't hit a golf ball in 147 straight days. He went on to say how he enjoyed the extra time with his family
and at the same time was eager to return. He has since returned to golf and he won his first tournament back. Funny enough, this tournament
was the one which he designed; the Shark Shootout. Norman is one of the most accomplished men in this sport and will probably be making headlines
for many years to come.
